The C310 was developed and built in Belgium exclusively for the European market, making it a desirable bike amongst Japanese collectors.
The 3 speeds are shifted with the left hand as was customary in Europe at the time. The centrifugal function of the otherwise manually operated clutch made the bike popular with postmen. You could call the C310 the Dutch postiebike. The C310A had the top-end of the C240 Port Cub while it’s successor C310S had the top-end of the C100.
